Department of Endoscopy is equipped with the latest equipment and devices (video endoscopes): Exera II, LUCERA (Оlympus, Japan). Endoscopes we use have unique functions: high-definition and resolution (HD) imaging, narrow band interference (NBI), autofluorescence imaging (AFI).

These methods allows to visualize the smallest pathological (disease) changes, detect cancer microlesions at the early stage to ensure curability. The department is staffed with highly qualified specialists with a great work experience. This allows to conduct the most advanced and complex endoscopic interventions. The following types of endoscopy are offered in the department:

  • video esophagogastroduodenoscopy (examination of esophagus, stomach and duodenum);
  • video colonoscopy (colonic examination);
  • video bronchoscopy (examination of the trachea and bronchial tree of lungs);
  • endoscopic interventions: diagnostic andnbsp;therapeutic surgery (removal of polyps and submucous formations, resection of the mucous membrane with epithelial formations, etc).

Endoscopy stipulates the visual examination of the mucosa of esophagus, stomach or colon, bronchi, etc., if necessary, taking intestinal microsamples (biopsy) for laboratory tests. This is carried out by introduction of a special device (gastrovideoscope, colonovideoscope or bronchovideoscope) into the lumen of organs. The endoscope (video endoscope) is a flexible, elegant, long probe with the built-in video chip that enables the transfer of the image from inside your internal hollow organs to the monitor. The information about your health state, which is obtained during videoscopy, is unique and allows to make a precise diagnosis and choose an adequate treatment mode. That is why it is so important to carefully prepare for the study. We'll do everything possible to ensure the high quality, reliability and convenience of the study!

Gastroscopy is a painless study, however, many patients have a strong gag reflex, feel anxiety and tension during this procedure. To avoid such inconvenience, we can carry out video esophagogastroduodenoscopy introducing an ultra-thin endoscope of 4.9 mm in diameter (thinner than a pencil) through the nasal passages (transnasal mini-gastroscopy). This method of study is recommended upon return (control) examinations, in pregnant women, patients with a cardiac pathology, etc.

Room staff carries out high-level automatic disinfection of flexible endoscopes using Japanese units OLYMPUS and the latest automatic disinfection systems for flexible endoscopes are the most reliable solution to the infectious safety of endoscopic interventions. Tools and accessories are autoclaved and used only sterile.

Endoscopic studies are carried out both in the first and second half of the day. Dear patient, you can choose any convenient time for appointment to an endoscopist.

(Colonoscopy appointment is carried out only by phone (499) 783–0384. The department's staff will explain to you how to prepare for this study and assign the visit time)

We can conduct the study on the day of the application. Please prepare for an endoscopic study.
