The densitometry room is equipped with Stratos dR X-ray osteodensity-meter Stratos (France), which measures bone mineral density to determine the state of bones, assess the probability of fractures and develop recommendations for further examination and treatment of patients with detected changes. The "Whole Body" programme allows to examine the whole body, including the analysis of mineral density of the entire skeleton, as well as to determine the ratio of muscle and fatty tissue in the body. The information obtained can be used by endocrinologists and dieticians for the development of a treatment regimen or assessment of effectiveness of the current treatment.
