Department of Otorhinolaryngology

The department staff carries out diagnosis and treatment of ENT diseases (nose, ear, throat, larynx). The most common diseases: adenoids, rhinitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, chronic tonsillitis, otitis, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, pollen fever, nose bleed, sudden deafness, nasal polyps, adenoids and other nasal and throat neoplasms, snoring, apnea, nasal septum deviation, etc.

The department staff applies the following diagnostic and treatment methods:

  • computed tomography of paranasal sinuses, temporal bones and the larynx;
  • phototelendoscopy of ENT organs;
  • ultrasound of paranasal sinuses;
  • tympanometry;
  • tone threshold audiometry;
  • non-puncture treatment of paranasal diseases using YAMIK sinus catheter;
  • ultrasound disintegration of nasal turbinates upon treatment of vasomotor rhinitis;
  • treatment of chronic tonsillitis, including lacunae washing and vacuum drainage of palatine tonsils using  Otoprant ENT combine (Germany);
  • removal of benign tumors of ENT organs with histological examination of tissues;
  • treatment of eustachitis and adhesive otitis with auditory tube catheterization;
