Pediatric ophthalmology

A sharp increase in the flow of video information (television, computers, mobile phones, etc.) inevitably leads to the increased visual pressure on every person. Increased cases of visual pathology in childhood is of particular concern. This is caused by the absence of evolutionary adaptation to this type of load, features of electronic data visualization devices: low legibility of small details and low screen blinking frequency. The situation is aggravated by environmental problems, electromagnetic fields, insufficient illumination of children's premises. The new type of load often leads to accommodation weakness, spasm of control muscles, malnutrition of eye tissue. This significantly effect the formation of the children's visual apparatus, which leads to development of myopia and other eye diseases.
